This Ortlieb bag IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN BLACK NOW. We have left the photos of the orange color (which had previously been available) BigZip because the images Ortlieb has of the black ones, and the photos we took of them, had poor contrast and showed very little detail. The thumbnails looked like black blobs. We also left the orange pictures because Ortlieb had planned to do a run of them last year, and we had some on order, but they never came. In the last eighteen or so years, Ortlieb has only had three colors on the BigZip bag, so we don't really have any expectation there will be a different color in the foreseeable future.
The Ortlieb Big-Zip Waterproof Duffle is a high quality, German-made extra large expedition bag, ideal for rafting, trekking and extended trips. For extra protection against impact during transport, Ortlieb uses robust heavy duty PD900 fabric and a waterproof TIZIP zipper to give reliable protection from damage. In addition to padded backpack shoulder straps which allow the Big-Zip to be carried like a huge rucksack, it features handles on each end for one or two person hauling. Three feet long, about 19" wide, and over 11" tall, 140 liters (which is almost five cubic feet!). The BigZip weighs only 3-1/2 pounds, and they are pretty much the largest zippered bags on the market & are great for multi-week raft trips.
