Due to sporadic but ongoing breakage issues with the Carlisle outfitter blades, we are now recommending the Sawyer Duramax blade. Although it only comes in a 6.5" width, the strength is the best among all brands. For the time being we won't be ordering blades from Carlisle, though that could change in the future.
