The Dynelite blade from Sawyer is an alternative to the heavier Duramax & Carlisle blades. They are metal edged, and we feel they are stronger (though still slightly heavier) than the synthetic & foam core products from Advanced Composites. They are not quite as strong as the Sawyer Duramax blades, but they are pretty close. If you are trying to keep the weight of your Sawyer oars to a minimum, these are a good way to go. We carry the 6" width Dynelites since most of the buyers for these are anglers, who tend to run lower flows and don't require a wider size.
These just went up in price 10% on July 1st, 2021, but we do have three of the six inch wide Dynelites left at the old $158 price (we will be swithcing over the the 7" blades now), and if someone buys all three we will do them for $149 each. Call us if you want them.
Note: Sawyer blades use a large nylon headless "screw" that you back into the button hole of the shaft, not a pop-up button like the Carlisles.
