Description

The six inch CoPilot knife is a new knife that releases by squeezing inward on both sides of the handle end of the sheath. It cannot come out by accident, and once it is out, the textured yellow rubber grip area area won't slip out of your hand either. Once out, the knife snaps back in with just downward force - you don't have to squeeze the sheath again. This is another sheath that mounts to almost any lifevest with ease, and the handle area even incorporates a bottle opener. Pass the Red Tail Ale!

The CoPilot is only sharp on one side, which seems to be the preference of most paddlers, but in some photos it appears the first inch or so of the blunt side is actually sharpened. It's not, just tapered enough for prying. The sharp side is 50% keen and 50% serrated. There is even a small hole near the end of the handle if you wish to use a tether string, but again, you would have to be exceedingly clumsy to drop this particular knife. The CoPilot runs $42
