Please note that while we are leaving the original description here for now, the nine foot Maxxon PT-9's are only going to be available sporadically, so call us for current information. The two-chamber ten foot size (the 9's are just one chamber per tube) is the smallest regularly available size now.
Maxxon PT-9 pontoon tubes ONLY, not the entire set-up shown. The tubes in the photo are actually eight footer's rather than the nine's, but the nine's look nearly identical. Colors include blue, grey, and sometimes red on this size. We are more of a whitewater shop rather than a fly fishing merchant, so this size is one that we do not carry on hand. Normally delivery time is usually anywhere from the same number of days to your address, or in the worst case one to two extra days.
For complete Maxxon information see the descriptions for the 14' & 16' sizes (the P14 and P16), but also note the differences mentioned on the P9's in the next paragraph.
Maxxon uses a chafe patch on the bottom of their tubes like the rowing frame chafer on top. The little P9's (9' X 15", 28 pounds per pair) have 3 D-rings on each side of each tube and are flatter than the 10' and 12' tubes shown in the photo. They are single chamber tubes intended mainly for angling rather than big whitewater.
