Like the NRS non-bailing rafts, the Rocky Mountain Livery models are often not available, so do not try to go straight to the shopping cart – call us first.

The 10’6” Livery is spec’d as having three air chambers, but the last time we had a 12’ (which had been a special order size) here it only had a front and rear chamber. Likewise, RMR shows this as having eight D-rings, but the real number is probably six since this is a non-bailing version of the Rocky Mtn Storm raft – which also has 6 D’s.

The thwarts are part of the main air chambers, and as such are non-removable. In other words, you cannot get the thwarts out of the way for a rowing frame – these are intended ONLY as paddle rafts, not fishing oar rigs.

The 10’6” RMR Livery has bow and stern lift handles, Leafield D-7 valves, and it is 5’2” wide with 18” tubes. The weight is in the high 60’s or low 70’s but we do not have the exact number handy. It will hold two to four paddlers, though you should keep the total weight to around 650 pounds. 700 max.

The material is the same tough 2000 denier RockShield as all of Rocky’s other rafts. This fabric is made by the same company that builds the boats. The floor and tube reinforcement patches are extra thick, and these rafts are designed for heavy commercial use.

A very good value, but again the main problem is that we often can not obtain them. The only guaranteed way is to contact us in the early Fall and put down a deposit for one to be delivered the next year. As mentioned on the NRS livery raft write-ups in this section, private boater demand for non-selfbailing rafts is too low for manufacturers to make extras just for shelf inventory.
