Maxxon P16+ Fatty 25" Cataraft Tubes

As of mid 2019 Maxxon has had two changes to their product line, one good and one bad. The "bad" is that after many years with no price increase, the new tariffs have pushed the 2020 numbers up a bit, though less so with these sixteen foot tubes compared to the shorter sizes. The good news is that all main seams and bulkheads are now welded rather than glued, which will bring the previous 12 to 14 year Maxxon lifespan up to 25+ years. In the 16' length we only stock the 25" "fatty" diameter, but if you have a requirement for the smaller 22" diameter give us a call. Maxxon has gone back and forth as to whether they will still carry them, but we never stock the 22" diameter, so that's why we ask you to phone us.

The P16+ Fatty tubes have eight beefy D-rings per tube, two air chambers per tube, molded end cones, and full ten foot long chafers top and bottom. The kick or rocker is about 4", or 26" (29" minus the 3" end cone) measured from the bottom.

Now with Leafield valves, replacing the old Halkey-Roberts knock-offs Maxxon used to use. These weigh about five pounds more than the standard 16' Maxxon, and we will be stocking blue and gray.
